There's a gorgeous sense of brutal realism to this. I'm not sure I could say how it would look to be freshly branded, but if I had to give an estimation, it would probably be like this. She looks real in a way that only someone made of cobwebs and pain, darklight and flesh could be realistic. I love how well you handled the shading, the depth and musculature of such a tortured, angry and almost confused face... Fantastic work on the entire piece. This deserves to be a Daily Deviation, no doubt.
